Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 6 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Winify ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our SaaS creator tools and platform services. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Winify is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. For creator-run campaigns (giveaways, leaderboards, rewards), the hosting Creator is the controller of their campaign data and Winify acts as their processor. We are currently formalising our company structure — for details of the legal entity responsible for your personal data, or any other privacy questions, please contact us via our official support channels and we will provide them.
2. Creator Permissions & Third-Party Integrations
Winify operates as a suite of creator tools. Any synchronization, promotion, or integration with external platforms (such as YouTube or Kick) is executed strictly with the Creator's explicit permission and authorization.
- Videos & Clips (e.g., YouTube Sync): We access and process public video metadata and synchronize content only when a Creator actively links their account via OAuth or API keys. We do not alter or own this content. Creators may revoke this access at any time through their platform settings, which immediately halts data synchronization.
- Livestream Promoting & Bots (e.g., Kick Bot): Our livestream integrations, bots, and minigames monitor stream status and chat interactions solely to provide the promised tools. This processing only occurs after the Creator has explicitly invited the bot or authorized the integration.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to facilitate our creator tools:
- Account Information: When you sign in (e.g., with X/Twitter, Google, Discord), we collect your username, display name, user ID, profile picture, and email address (if authorized).
- Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the Service, such as giveaways entered, hosted campaigns, leaderboards joined, and technical data like IP address.
- Public Blockchain Data: If you connect a wallet for crypto-related rewards, we may process your public wallet address.
4. Sharing of Information & Giveaways
We do not sell your personal data. However, as a platform facilitating creator-audience interactions, data is shared under specific circumstances:
Giveaways, Leaderboards & Rewards:
When you (the Entrant) participate in a giveaway, leaderboard, or reward campaign, you explicitly consent to sharing your basic profile information (username, avatar, entry status, and any required completion proof) with the specific Creator (Host) running that campaign. Winify acts as the data processor facilitating this toolset, while the Creator is the data controller for their specific campaign and winner verification.
- If you win a giveaway or top a leaderboard, your username and avatar may be publicly displayed on the campaign page.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Creator Studio and SaaS toolset.
- Verify identity and eligibility for campaigns (e.g., checking if you follow a host).
- Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse (e.g., detecting "farming" accounts).
- Communicate regarding your account, API integrations, or system updates.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use two categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These always run and do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — used to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. These are non-essential and load only after you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner. Declining keeps analytics fully off.
You can change your analytics choice at any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser (the banner will be shown again), and you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the UK GDPR (and the EU GDPR where applicable), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Right to be Forgotten) of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction of, or objection to, certain processing of your data.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., disconnecting your integrated accounts like YouTube or X, or withdrawing analytics-cookie consent).
- Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or with your local EU data protection authority.
8. Contact Us
