Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 9 October 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Winify ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our SaaS creator tools, bots, API and platform services (the "Service"). It should be read with our Terms of Service and Disclaimers. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Winify is the data controller for personal data processed to run the Service itself. For creator-run campaigns (giveaways, leaderboards, rewards, wager data), the hosting Creator is the controller of their campaign data and Winify acts as their processor. We are currently formalising our company structure — for details of the legal entity responsible for your personal data, or any other privacy questions, please contact us via our official support channels and we will provide them.
Not affiliated with X / Twitter
Winify is an independent service. We are not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with X Corp. or Twitter, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The same is true of Kick, YouTube and Google, Discord, Telegram, Twitch, and every casino, sportsbook or other brand that appears on the Service. "X", "Twitter", "Tweet" and every other third-party name and logo are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe what our tools work with.
2. Who the Service Is For — 18+ Only
The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 or over (or the legal gambling age where you live, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it and close the account.
18+ only. Please gamble responsibly.
Winify is for adults. Much of the content on the Service relates to gambling. Gambling can be addictive and you can lose money — never gamble more than you can afford to lose, and never treat it as a way to earn money or solve a financial problem. If gambling is affecting you or someone you know, free and confidential help is available:
- GambleAware — free advice and tools (Great Britain)
- GamCare — National Gambling Helpline — 0808 8020 133, free, 24/7 (UK)
- GAMSTOP — free self-exclusion from UK-licensed gambling sites
- National Council on Problem Gambling — 1-800-GAMBLER (US)
- Gambling Therapy — free online support worldwide
3. Prizes, Rewards & Payouts — the Creator Is Responsible
Winify does not pay out prizes or hold prize funds
Every giveaway, leaderboard, contest and reward on the Service is run by the Creator (Host) who published it. Paying the prize is solely that Creator's responsibility. Winify does not collect, hold, escrow, guarantee or pay out prizes, and is not responsible if a Creator pays late, pays less, or does not pay at all. See section 5 of our Terms of Service.
What this means for your data:
- To pay you, a Creator may ask you for information such as a wallet address, a casino username or payment details. You give that information to the Creator, not to Winify. The Creator is the controller of it and is responsible for how it is used, stored and protected. We are not responsible for a Creator's handling of anything you send them, on or off the Service.
- Winify does not process prize payments and holds no record of whether a prize was actually paid, other than what a Creator or winner chooses to publish.
- Winify will never ask you to pay to receive a prize, or for your password, seed phrase or private keys.
4. Creator Permissions & Third-Party Integrations
Winify operates as a suite of creator tools. Any synchronization, promotion, or integration with external platforms (such as X, YouTube, Kick, Discord or Telegram) is carried out at the Creator's request and with their authorization.
- Videos & Clips: When a Creator adds a channel, we read public channel, video and clip metadata from the source platform and display embeds, thumbnails and links. We do not alter or own this content. A Creator can remove a channel at any time, which stops further synchronization.
- Livestreaming & Bots (Kick, Discord, Telegram): Our bots and integrations read stream status and the chat messages and commands in the channels, servers and chats where a Creator or admin has added or authorized them, solely to provide the requested tools (for example chat giveaways, winner verification and notifications).
- Wager Database, Leaderboards & custom integrations: Creators can enter, import or connect data about their community (for example usernames, wagered amounts and rankings). The Creator is the controller of that data and is responsible for having the right to share it with us; we process it only to provide the tool. Credentials a Creator supplies for an integration are stored encrypted.
- Creator Pages & Custom Websites: The Creator is the publisher of their site and is responsible for its content and for any data they collect through it.
5. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide our tools:
- Account Information: When you sign in (e.g., with X/Twitter, Google, Discord), we collect your username, display name, user ID, profile picture, public profile details such as follower count, and email address (if authorized). If you connect further accounts (such as Kick, Telegram or Discord) we collect the matching identifiers and the tokens needed to keep the connection working.
- Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the Service, such as giveaways entered or hosted, campaigns, leaderboards joined, tasks completed, content you create, and technical data like IP address, device and browser type, and logs.
- Publicly available social-media data: When a Creator runs a giveaway on a post, when anyone uses Roll Check or a bot/entry check, or when a developer calls the Winify X API, we process publicly available information about the accounts involved — handle, display name, avatar, public profile text (including any location a person has written on their profile), follower and following counts, account age, and the public interaction itself (for example a reply, repost or quote). This includes people who do not have a Winify account.
- Payment Data: Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details but never your full card number. For crypto payments we process the paying wallet address, transaction hash, asset, network and amount. Blockchain data is public and permanent.
- API Data: If you use the Winify X API we keep your API key, balance, and request logs (endpoint, time, status and cost).
- Content sent to AI features: Prompts, reference images, posts and video details you submit to AI features are sent to third-party AI model providers to generate the result.
- Communications: Messages you send us through support or contact channels.
6. Sharing of Information & Giveaways
We do not sell your personal data. However, as a platform facilitating creator-audience interactions, data is shared under specific circumstances:
Giveaways, Leaderboards & Rewards:
When you (the Entrant) participate in a giveaway, leaderboard, or reward campaign, your basic profile information (username, avatar, entry status, and any required completion proof) is shared with the specific Creator (Host) running that campaign. Winify acts as the data processor facilitating this toolset, while the Creator is the data controller for their specific campaign, winner verification and prize payment.
- If you win a giveaway or place on a leaderboard, your username and avatar may be publicly displayed on the campaign page, in winner announcements, and in features such as the Hall of Fame.
- Service providers: We use providers for hosting and infrastructure, payments, analytics and AI processing. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
- API customers: Developers using the Winify X API receive the publicly available information they request and are independently responsible for how they use it.
- Sponsors: If you apply to sponsorship or influencer features, the profile and audience information you choose to submit is shared with prospective sponsors.
- Legal: We may disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of Winify, our users or others.
7. How We Use Your Information & Our Legal Bases
We use your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Creator Studio and SaaS toolset (performance of our contract with you).
- Verify identity and eligibility for campaigns (e.g., checking if you follow a host), select winners, and show results (contract; legitimate interests in running fair draws).
- Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse (e.g., detecting "farming" or automated accounts) (legitimate interests).
- Process payments and keep financial records (contract; legal obligation).
- Communicate regarding your account, API integrations, or system updates (contract; legitimate interests).
- Measure and improve the Service with analytics cookies (consent).
Automated checks. Bot, regional and entry checks, Roll Check and similar features produce automated indicators from public information. They are advisory: they can be wrong, and the Creator — not Winify — decides who wins and who is excluded. If you think a result about you is wrong, contact us.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use two categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These always run and do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — used to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. These are non-essential and load only after you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner. Declining keeps analytics fully off.
You can change your analytics choice at any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser (the banner will be shown again), and you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. We may also count visits to, and clicks on, partner and sponsor links to measure campaigns.
9. Retention, Security & International Transfers
- Retention: We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as is needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Giveaway results and the seeds that prove a draw are kept so that results stay verifiable.
- Security: We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
- Transfers: Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised by data-protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
10. Third-Party Sites & Gambling Operators
The Service links to third-party websites, including social platforms, casinos and sportsbooks, and some of those links are affiliate or sponsored links. Those sites are run by other companies under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control them, we do not receive your gambling account or play data from them unless a Creator uploads it as described above, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data or for anything you do on them.
11. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the UK GDPR (and the EU GDPR where applicable), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Right to be Forgotten) of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction of, or objection to, certain processing of your data — including our processing of publicly available information about you, whether or not you have a Winify account.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., disconnecting your integrated accounts like YouTube or X, or withdrawing analytics-cookie consent).
- Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you.
Where a Creator is the controller of the data (their campaign, leaderboard or wager data), you may need to contact that Creator; we will help where we can. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or with your local EU data protection authority.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above.
13. Contact Us
For any privacy-related inquiries, to exercise your rights, or to revoke access to any third-party integrations, please contact us via our contact page or our official support channels.
